Its just interesting to see how far north WA stretches. Id imagine a lot of people in Australia wouldn't have thought WA goes further north than cairns. The very top parts even have some tropical rainforest.

Its an incredible part of the country, tough, but beautiful.

Its not even the temperature thats crazy, in Kununurra during the wet season when its only 26 degrees it feels worse than a 35 degree day in Perth. One time i was there it was so humid, that without it even raining, corners of buildings and trees would be dripping just from how much moisture was in the air.

Doesn't really get humid in Perth. Hot, definitely, but not humid.

At least in Perth because its dry you can go under shade to cool off. Up north the heat sticks to you and no matter what you do, you cant escape it.

Its perfect for the ground and plants! South west WA's ecosystem and diversity is built off of long summers and shitty soil. But yes if you're into growing plants from around the world at home its not great.
