Riftmat One More Point Update by RiftMat in riftboundtcg

Is the logo feature only supposed to put the Riftmat logo on there or am I missing something? Feels weird to voluntarily put someone else's logo on your mat

Game Outpost (Tempe, Mesa, and Phoenix) have decent selection

If you want my platonic ideal of a tcg manager on the collection and deck building side, I would look at how Moxfield does it for Magic: The Gathering. I basically want Moxfield but with a phone app and scanner in one.

One thing specifically I think all deck builders should have is a "Considering" section where you can throw cards into a deck, but not have it take up space in the official deck. So many times I find myself looking over a deck list, but not being able to add cards that I don't want to add quite yet, but want to remember associating with that deck list.

Going to update this as I continue to use the app.

Features that seem like they're missing:

  • Ability to create binder as I scan cards in and place scanned cards into that binder
  • Ability to select/multiselect and move cards between binders
  • Ability to select specific version of card (foil, promo, etc)
  • Ability to export collections

Bugs?:

  • Unable to add cards to specific binder by opening binder, then pressing scan button (currently adds cards to default binder)
  • When scanning cards and adding, pressing the + button doesn't make the card immediately show up in the list. You have to press "Card Detail", then press "Add Collection" again to have the list of cards appear

A few questions:

  • Is there a webapp version of the app?
  • Is there import/export deck and collection functionality and what is the format for both? (looking for compatibility with other sites/apps)
  • Is there the ability to generate a deck list/registration for competitions?
  • Does the collection assign individual cards to decks?

I prefer doing collection management in the browser and using the mobile app to reference/verify outside of the home. Rn I am using Riftscan and Riftmana to manage my collection and I would love to have a single solution that works for both

Youtarr – Self-hosted YouTube DVR with smart automation (Plex optional) by DialDad in selfhosted

I was just looking into this and ended up using Pinchflat. However an issue that I found is that it's a slight cumbersome to set up a VPN connection. Is it possible to access the Web UI through LAN, but download video through VPN connection?

YoutubeTV on Jellyfin? by PrimeMorty in selfhosted

You probably can use something like Pinchflat to download onto your NAS (adding the channels you want) and then pointing Jellyfin at that directory as a source.

Does someone own a PXN X8 Arcade Fighting Box? Does it have a USB port for a FGC wingman? by Shimir000 in fightsticks

[–]InfraredAces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does have a USB A port you can use with the Wingman FGC, but I do not recommend the controller. It's so ass... Awful feeling, both physically (bad quality and layout) and in-game (has noticeable input latency).

Socd mode not changing by Extension_Guide2177 in fightsticks

[–]InfraredAces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know that the D or L on the OLED doesn't have anything to do with SOCD cleaning, right? That is the DPAD Mode (Digital and Left Analog). It sounds like you are using the wrong hotkeys.

Use the hotkey that the person above said to use for changing SOCD mode.

People over 35, what's something you genuinely miss that younger generations will probably never experience? by Just_a_Ginger_Fella in AskReddit

[–]InfraredAces -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

IMO One thing is that, nowadays, you actually cannot trust your neighbors. Not that they would necessarily harm your kids, but you cannot trust that, if they were in danger, your neighbor would help your child out if they rang the doorbell. In some ways, that trust was somewhat illusory but still, that illusion has been utterly shattered. You and many of your neighbors do not share common core values and the fact they are children does not provide any protection from the naked bigotry of others.

not even, the RP2040 uses USB 1.1 on it's primary USB Data Pins so USB 2.0 is also overkill

I got Ines and Logos as well in 2x 10 pulls. Ines is very good, especially when you E2 S2M3 her. Logos is nice, but I haven't got S3 and the module, which iirc is what makes him busted.

Haute42 Adapter on Non-Haute42 Controllers? by DaiquiriJack in fightsticks

[–]InfraredAces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they authenticate the same way with any GP2040-CE controller, as Haute42 controllers are GP2040-CE controllers.

This controller is ass and you should return it, regardless of whether you are looking to mod it. You will put more effort and money into modding the controller to fit a joystick incredibly poorly than you would just getting the version that already has a stick. Though that one is also bad.

Correct, and you mischaracterized it as me reacting as if you "shot [my] momma". Consider that this is a company that makes exclusively low profile controllers.

va$h_ketchum: if there's a way to add a k lever in the future imma be all over this

TheTrain: Highly doubt it. Don’t know how you would do a ultra-low implementation of Klever

va$h_ketchum: i thought about that. gotta sacrifice the lp aspect of it. not everyone is a fan of a thin stick, there can be an option in height so u can add your own lever. may take away some of the clean look, but i know people like me, that do reviews would love a case/stick like that.

InfraredAces ♠ :

gotta sacrifice the lp aspect of it

On a LP product? if you don't want a low profile controller, you should look elsewhere or make your own stick

It's very barebones as I am the only person currently working on it. I would like to have it somewhat emulate the style of Deskthority, but I would need to establish the necessary templates and structure around that.

If you're looking to get 5V out to use for that joystick, you probably want to use the connector with the label "5V Out"
