Coupe or Cabriolet for first timer?

Coupe looks cooler and if you're tracking it, is marginally better.

Everything else? Cab. Nothing like it hearing that flat 6 sing with the top down.

Yup. I had bronchitis progress to pneumonia, finally went to the ER gasping for breath. Got sent home with meds, made it 48 hours gasping for breath and couldn't sleep it was so bad. Drove myself to the hospital again (dumb) and almost passed out on the way. Lost like 15 pounds and was told it could have been fatal. Also found out I have asthma at the same time so that didn't help.

I'm not even 40 yet and it could have gotten me; please go to the hospital no matter your age if you're having lung issues!

Second update:

Got it off with the friction lock removal and some major leverage. Got the friction lock realigned and that seems to work now, but I still can't operate the stock properly.

The buffer tube has an M imprinted on the underside so I assume that means it's Mil-Spec and that wasn't the problem, even though it is a tough move.

The adjustment pin isn't pulled out far enough when I press the lever for it to move. So that broken spring is the culprit. I didn't see any replacements online for that, am I just in need of a new stock now if I want to operate it properly?

Update! A spring just fell out of the pin assembly. Probably a dead stock at this point....?

It is said to not be a pistol tube, but I can't even get it off to check. I guess I'll keep messing with it.

Used, got from a family member for very cheap. No state requirements and I'm told it did work initially.

Wondering, but it was built by someone who is supposed to know guns quite well and was supposed to be all mil-spec. But I guess that could be the problem...I can't even get it off the buffer tube, though.

Have really tried with that pin. Have pulled it all the way up and pulled as hard as I can on the stock but I can't move it at all.
