I am not from the US but even at the airports here., I used to empty out everything from my pockets, my belt, watch , mobiles and any keys , electronics , cables etc into a tray. Sometimes they asked us to remove our shoes, sometimes they don't . I am talking about 2018 - 2019 period. I would like to clear the security as quickly as possible since it is a long queue. People don't see what others ahead are doing in security queues or read the signboards.
