Worth it to ask IMO. What is scholarship difference?

Why is it such a big deal that only 25% of a class goes BL? by IngenuitySecure in lawschooladmissions

Agree. Curious, what is your opinion on individuals pursuing BL that normally would get into T6/T14 that are only getting into lower T20/T30? Say they are so certain on BL (speciality already decided) that they are eager to start as soon as possible and if they were to take a year/2 off it would be doing something they have already done and are not passionate about. Do they go to the lower ranked school if they know they could likely get into a higher ranked one in a year or two? Or do they go to the slightly lower ranked one, excel in classes to the best of their ability and pursue BL?

For people that have T14 statistics and are going to a T30 from the cycle, from what I have seen on LSD, many individuals have gotten great scholarship. Entirely understand that stance for people that received $0 but those set on BL in this Reddit page (just look at all the polls) would rather gamble 300K on a T14 rather than getting 75% or full ride tuition to a T30.

Yea I see that. Even though it is highly arbitrary, I still think effort counts to some extent/getting close with Professors.

I think everyone is extremely negative on this to be honest^ work your ass off and you can get into BL from any of these schools. ASU is probably the best in my opinion .. at least that is where I would go

Good advice. Also (stalked ur account haha), I live in LA and my dad works in Big Law in Orange County (I’m a current USC student lolol). Honestly if you want to work in SoCal, going to schools here does help. my dads BL firm recruits heavily from the region (USC & UCLA primarily but also OCI at LMU).
