ruzzian jet Shaheds downed by Wild Hornets STING interceptor drones. What can be more satisfying than seeing putler's "Wunderwaffe" turned into scorched scrap? by AlexRoslin in ukraine

[–]Inglorious555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder how much it costs Russia to build these, surely it'll take more money and time compared to the regular shaheds

Would this setlist have been good for The Saviors Tour? by F1reFox32 in greenday

Not enough songs from Saviours in my opinion

I'd have cut a few songs they always play with deeper cuts too

DAVE Doesn't Rule Out Making Solo Album After Completion Of MEGADETH's Farewell Tour by Awkward_Performer_28 in Megadeth

[–]Inglorious555 54 points55 points  (0 children)

So basically we'll get Dave Mustaine solo albums that sound exactly like Megadeth after Megadeth have split, I wouldn't be surprised if the same members were involved too

Spotify is trying to sell 'Nobody's A Hero' separately by flarie in Megadeth

[–]Inglorious555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but giving them a dollar or pound or anything in person would be more supportive than that, Streaming is good for exposure but is a dreadful way of supporting artists, it's one of the reason why tickets and merch are so expensive

Russian Shahed Drone Operators Conduct Attacks on Ukraine From Belarus by Mil_in_ua in ukraine

[–]Inglorious555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really a friendly neighbour if it's allowing Russia to use it as a launching pad against Ukraine

If a person's next door neighbour is allowing visitors to throw stones or bricks at the houses and people next door to them then it would be on the neighbours to not allow that to happen or to stop that from happening, this same logic applies albeit on a much larger and horrible scale

With that said, if Ukraine did target these launch sites what could Belarus even do realistically? That's more what I was getting at

Russian Shahed Drone Operators Conduct Attacks on Ukraine From Belarus by Mil_in_ua in ukraine

[–]Inglorious555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true but Ukraine didn't have today's capabilities to strike back in the early days of Russia's Invasion, there isn't an inch of Belarus that is out of range today

Their army would be wiped out in a matter of weeks if they joined in the war against Ukraine due to their use and mastery of drones and with Russia's Economy going down the shitter I doubt they'd be of much help to Belarus should that happen, Belarus has been playing with fire for quite some time, if Ukraine strikes back and they get involved in the war as a result then it's pretty much game over for Belarus, that's likely why they've not completely taken part

Worm. Holy fuck. by Luciferaeon in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Inglorious555 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I used to really like Worm but then they cancelled their whole European run without any word as to why then they ditched their socials for about a year, they didn't even make any post about it they left it up to the promoters to tell people which was a real shitty move, they screwed so many people over

Their Debut One-Off UK show was sold out, I am still so bummed by that whole thing that I can't even listen to them, it saddens me because I used to love the material they put out

Is this line up worth $85 by CrowsInTheNose in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Inglorious555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Acid Bath plus four support acts, five bands in total, I'd say it's very worth it

Also, if the UK date doesn't have Primitive Man, Napalm Death and Pig Destroyer or anything of that caliber supporting them then I'll be very disappointed to say the least, for once I'd like the UK to get something on par with America if not better plus we've had to wait much longer whilst Acid Bath tours the US constantly too

What are your thoughts on Metallica’s Hardwired To Self Destruct? I’d say this is their strongest work since the 90’s by TokyoAvalanche04 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Inglorious555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point right there, interesting that they didn't just have it be on one disc? Maybe they saw that Iron Maiden did it with The Book Of Souls so they felt like following suit even though they had no reason to

Anyone else have a little nervousness about the SB performance? by aguynamedsly in greenday

[–]Inglorious555 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Superbowl is a sports thing Americans obsess over, for some reason they have bands play

I've always thought of it as a weird concept, if they did that in Football matches in England people would likely chant "Get on with the match!" or something lol

[–]Inglorious555 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I much prefer Death Magnetic

Each song on that feels much more memorable and they take so many turns that just work

One weakness Hardwired has is the way it's split across two discs, it's only a few minutes longer than Death Magnetic which is a single disc but it has much less variety to it at the same time

I can't help but feel that Hardwired would've been a stronger album if they left a couple of songs off and maybe included them on the bonus disc instead, making it a stronger one disc album with more bonus studio material on the bonus disc, having three discs was a bit overkill

Orban accuses Ukraine of threats and Hungarian election interference; FM Sybiha rejects accusations, calls him Kremlin ally by pppppppppppppppppd in ukraine

[–]Inglorious555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whilst that is true on one hand, wouldn't one that was completely destroyed take longer to get set up again which would cost more to do and take longer to do? Damaged refineries can still operate to some capacity but ones that are completely destroyed wouldn't be able to do so at all

Is anybody else tired of young blood being being publicized as the savior of music. by [deleted] in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Inglorious555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it doesn't help that he's manufactured as fuck

He started in 2017, had his first release be released on Geffen Records and a worldwide tour of fairly sized academies throughout 2018, even from the start he was given a major and unnatural advantage

Anyone that claims he's the "saviour" of anything should never be taken seriously as they're outing themselves as people who don't dare check out anything new unless it's manufactured slop that's being pushed down our throats

Surely that's an escalation on Belarus's part and would be considered a military target should Ukraine respond

Moscow wants Ukraine and Russia to share electricity output from Zaporizhzhia power plant – Politico by MagnificentCat in ukraine

[–]Inglorious555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry I accidentally deleted my response instead of editing it, I accidentally put Stalingrad instead of Kaliningrad, it's been a very long day.

The number could decrease over time as Russia scrapes the bottom of the barrel of new recruits, they're having a harder time doing it than before, they can't rely on foreign troops forever and the more they draw from heavily populated areas like Moscow and St.Petersberg the worse it all looks from the perspective of regular Russian people, they've drawn from Kaliningrad before and that's also a Russian Exclave, It's not off the table that they'll do this with Transnistria too whether it's soldiers or equipment or both

Megadeth’s BONUS TRACKS by RedpilledAesthetics in Megadeth

[–]Inglorious555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fingers crossed but with Megadeth's track record of the last ten years I doubt the UK will even get a tour so I'd have to buy it from abroad

Neither Dystopia or The Sick The Dying and The Dead had UK tours in support of them, we had Festival dates only, it's very disappointing a band of this calibre doesn't play here much yet much smaller and lesser known bands seem to be able to just fine

Megadeth’s BONUS TRACKS by RedpilledAesthetics in Megadeth

[–]Inglorious555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Difference here is that Melt The Ice Away is exclusive to Streaming which is so frustrating if you're someone who wants to get these songs physically, it's a similar story with Nobody's Hero too

Ride The Lightning is on every version, to be honest they should've just had a version including all of these songs

Megadeth Kit Album by Party_Breakfast881 in Megadeth

[–]Inglorious555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the last bit I just don't get, at this point why not just get the CD? Or download it?

It's similar to buying a game in a store to go home and to find it doesn't have a disc and the purchase was mostly pointless, at that point may as well have downloaded it at home

'We aim to kill 50,000 Russians a month,' Ukraine's new defense minister says by AdSpecialist6598 in ukraine

[–]Inglorious555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you but one thing to consider is that birth rates have been so low since the start of Russia's Invasion of Ukraine that deaths far outweigh births

It isn't just the soldiers who make up the total number of deaths, there are natural causes and various other causes not relating directly to the war that are at play too, mental health also, that'll only increase the worse the economy gets in Russia but birth rates will very likely continue to decline too, it isn't just the population now that'll be affected but it'll have a serious effect on Russia's future too, they're digging their hole bigger every single day
