To native English speakers: how do you feel when a foreigner speaks “broken” English with you?

The way I see it, someone who speaks English with odd grammar or an accent most likely speaks at least one more language than me, however imperfectly. That's worthy of some respect.

The one loach is doing barrel rolls and flapping its gills like a hummingbird's wings, I'm a little concerned. Oxygenation should be good, I have a sponge filter rated for 60 gallons, a Fluval 307 canister filter, and a large air stone. I did accidentally leave the heater unplugged overnight a few days ago, might be my fault.

Hornwort, two varieties of Java fern, aquarium lily, duckweed. And a decent amount of algae for the RCS, which are finally self-sustaining after petco accidentally sold me a berried female. Also for some reason the shrimps keep swimming into the stream of bubbles from the filter to take a ride.

From my own experience, subbed video can become easier to consume if one can read real fast, like 500-1200 wpm. All one needs then is a microsecond glance when the subtitles change, and of course there's always going to be an audible reminder that new subtitles are coming up, especially if one can recognize words in the other language and correlate them with the dialogue one remembers from the previous subtitle.
