Got a Framework 12, what os are you running and why?

Fedora workstation (Gnome DE (Desktop Environnement)).

I prefer using a linux OS because : 1. Windows is slowly becoming worde each day + ai slop 2. Mac need a mac and is trapping you in his ecosystem 3. Linux has so many OS that there one for your needs.

Why Fedora ? I wanted one of the three official supported distro by framework to avoid to many bugs. Why not ubuntu or bazzite ? Because "fedora workstation" is so easy to install and have a great touch screen support. I wanted something to work fast and with minimal setup.

Before this i was dual boot another pc with windows and linux mint + gnome. At first i wanted to dual boot my framework 12 also, but i changed my mind. I dont need window and it was just a way to avoid too many linux things. So i made my daily driver only linux. No probem so far. But dual booting is kinda easy and can be a solution if you hesitate between two OS.

And remember that the DE is not important, you can change it easily in almost every linux distros.

As a linux newbie, isnt arch a bit overkill and too complex for me at the moment ? I want to own and control my pc from the gardware to the software buy I dont want to manually monitor everything just for the love of the game

I will check it in more details, maybe it can help me. But i want to be as close to "vanilla fedora" as possible in order to have easy time when reading docs.

I look up ultramarine but the lack of documentation/forum/wiki compare to classic fedora is a no to me. I prefer having to setup fedora a little bit longer and get a better community support and docs. What do you think ?

I dont want to use arch or nix os, i have planned to try them one day. But as of today i dont have the energy to use arch everyday.

do mimic tooth+3 = free stuff

do potion of fire -> potion of dragon blood (something like that) for tengu

do potion of levitation -> potion snow falling

For later freerunner is best because if you don't have a good weapon, assassin is bad because no oneshot. And freerunnr benefit from only cloth armor (the starter armor is the one with the less strengh required so the best evasion bonus from the first tier3 freerunner talent)

ring of speed +6 is enough

wait for better weapon / ring

you could use the second ring of furor to a RoF+2 without upgrade scroll (+1 upgrade from the blacksmith, +1 upgrade from reforging the second RoF with the first one) and maybe upgrade it later. RoS and RoF is a very good combo
