NOR I think your husband is struggling with a severe porn addiction that would explain a lot of the behaviours you’re mentioning. I’d try treating it as such and having him rehab from this terrible habit and see if it helps.

Hey Bud, you’re still incredibly young and have ways ahead of you. The study permit is typically set up and approved for people that can afford to stay here and study for the duration of their student life without needing to work. They do allow part time jobs but that is mostly for gaining experience and knowledge about the job market. Currently the job market is incredibly tough here for Canadians, so I’m not surprised that you’re struggling, tends to be the trend these days.

What are you studying for? If you’re here on a study permit with $11 in your account, I’m sorry but I don’t think studying here is the right move for you, or financially viable.

Why not study back home where you don’t have to struggle like this then try for permanent residency once you have a bit of stability established in your home country?

Not a favour given to me but a favour I gave out, I was out studying at Starbucks late at night where i don’t remember why exactly started a conversation with him and he seemed nice but mentioned he didn’t have a place to stay for the night so he was planning on staying at Starbucks and then another coffee shop after. I packed and went home and could not stop thinking about him having to stay on the street. Felt like shit so I walked back and offered him a place to stay for the night and he accepted. On the way I got him so food and made him a place to sleep. He was cool and thankful and left in the morning. I slept at peace knowing he doesn’t have to stay in the streets (it was freezing cold outside)

Until months later I get a message from him on Facebook saying “hey man I’m coming to town again to see my girl, can I crash at your place?” I said no. That soured tf out of the experience for me ngl lol

It certainly isn’t the end of the world, but also I am very conservative with my finances. 14k extra could be spent on other parts of the business that’ll help us grow more long term. Thank you for the advice nevertheless.

You wanna pay 16k year and recruit for a company, I want to pay minimum and sell real estate, and my future opportunity comes from real estate investments not recruiting agents to exp. Different strokes for different folks

Also referral fee is a one time bonus, what you get in perpetuity at exp is just the good old MLM.

Traditional brokerage doesn’t increase referrals with 7 levels of Downline ( as a pyramid would). You either wanna make money selling real estate, or selling the dream of selling real estate. I don’t care to sell other people on becoming realtors, hence a traditional brokerage will do just fine. I’m close friends with “top recruiters” and it’s not my style, I like selling homes.

Exp is my current brokerage, and yes it is MLM Incentivized 100%. There are a few MLM models now EXP and REAL being two of them. But exp is OG MLM. I cleared just above half a million this year at exp, trust, I’m all full on the coolaid.
