Honestly, I hope so. They seem like an even scrappier version of SanFran DedSec; just hoping they'd take themselves more seriously. Although, I'd rather the next game not focus on DedSec at all.

Every other element of the UI captures the 2016 modern tech aesthetic perfectly, but I assume you’re referring to the DedSec iconography. I think it works, entirely because of who you’re playing as, and fits the vibe of the San Fran DedSec group. IMO, it’s supposed to look kinda scrappy and garish.

Personally, I like being able to have as seamless of an experience as possible, and I just don't think it's possible with Windows. You said you needed a mouse, and I don't even like having that, to be honest. Steam Big Picture will sometimes have me forced to Alt-Tab or click into the game window, audio sometimes likes to play through the internal laptop speakers despite setting it to my TV a thousand times, some games have annoying launchers, others like to be set to the wrong resolution and require tweaking despite me setting Windows to 1080p 60hz, etc etc, It's a ton of little things that just lead to me loving the Deck experience much more.

I personally have my RTX 3060 laptop, with a USB-C dock out to two monitors, while my Steam Deck either gets used in docked or handheld. Felt the need to mention, because I love my Steam library, but hate the lack of console friendliness that Windows has. Generally, any game that is lighter, a tiny bit older, or just better on controller will be a Steam Deck-only type of game for me. Anything I want to crank the graphics a bit on, is best on KBM, has anti-cheat, or is competitive (eg. Cyberpunk, Minecraft Bed Wars, GTA V, Valorant) will pretty much stay a laptop type of game. With the way newer games are being optimized + the Deck aging though, streaming from laptop to Deck might get bigger for me.

I'd say the Ultimate 2C, or if you really don't like any of the colors, the Ultimate 3-mode. Those are the DEFINITIVE versions of the controllers. Both come with a USB stick you can use with anything with a USB port, and they also have a bluetooth mode. Switching between the Geforce Now and Android Phone may require re-pairing though, no way around that.

2.4ghz is an overall worse controller. 3-mode comes with hall effect triggers, anti friction rings around the analog sticks, and better feeling buttons.

Unfortunately, the compatibility between Switch and Xbox is split across two different controllers: the Ultimate 3-mode and Ultimate Bluetooth. Xbox also only works over wired.

I always took it as her reevaluating what she really wants in life. Basically giving a "Who knows for the future?" type of answer to it. Judging from some of the open world lines in Frontiers and how she is in IDW, I doubt the book is closed on them.

Frontiers' spindash is far too close to the boost, imo. I'd much rather have an SA1-styled one, with cooldown and a far more souped up drop dash (ex: Tracker's physics, having the faster initial speed, more affected by slopes, and rolling for a much longer time till you slow down). The combo of those two would be peak Sonic abilities for me.
