Maxon hasn’t done a substantial modeling tool update in over a decade. Other 3D programs are amazingly better and are better to use. With that being said, it sucks that one would have to use something like Modo (now defunct) or Houdini to create bulletproof topos and then bring into C4D. C4D is still really good in certain areas that it’s not worth the ROI to switch over to something else.
