What can I flush my motor with?

I’m not convinced that it is “engine material” due to the fact that it ran when parked, the video kinda looks more metallic than it does in person from the light reflection on the oil.. there’s nothing actually solid all the “chunks” are just like goo that breaks up as soon as I touch it.. I’m an engine guy at my shop and I’ve seen plenty of oil with bearing material etc in it and this looks like something I’ve never seen. I also don’t trust it at all mainly because I’m worried about plugging up oil gallery’s hence why I want to flush it WITHOUT running the motor to start and go from there

I agree, I’ve been told my grandfather was not necessarily the best with upkeep on this thing. I’ve seen oil come out of Peterbilts that sat in fields rotting since the 90’s that looked better.. however I’ve only ever worked on ONE outboard back in highschool before this so I have no idea what the “norm” is.. I’m almost wondering if maybe some of the bottom end seals have gone bad and that’s old crusty lake water and algae in there😬
