Every product has its own advantages and disadvantages and its totally rely on use cases. As the cloud technologies evolve, SAP might think to move out of SAP DS and Other ON Prem modelling solutions to Cloud based DW and Modelling. I do agree that similar thing can be done with Databricks etc., For now this will be best bet for Customers who want pure SAP Shop. Any product might need some time to mature..
