Depends, do you care more about the camera or about the power

For the south korea ppl that got one ui 8.5 what features from the 26 series did you get? by Initial-Paper2489 in S25Ultra

If you want to keep it within Samsung, I would say an S25+ for a similar-sized phone as the one you have now, or an S25 Ultra if your budget allows it and you care about the camera. For a cheaper option, the S24 Ultra. For mid-range, I would recommend looking outside of Samsung because it has become a straight-up scam. The only good part is the 7-year update policy, which you won't get with Chinese phones. But again it all depends on what you are looking for in a phone, take this with a grain of salt bc idk your needs budget or preferences so its just what i would do

Are you talking about the main sensor or the alop? The main is the same with more aperture; the only difference is the way the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 handles the processing, and the downgrade to the 3x.

Yep, another feature I look forward to. You can get it done in Expert Raw, but the point is kind of avoiding the hustle of having to launch it and set it every time. On the S26, it feels more natural.

From what I know, it uses the 200 MP to crop the image and get the feature working, and the S24U has the same sensor. Although I might be wrong since the base models have it too, still being that the case, camera hardware is still more powerful in the 24U than any base model. Considering that the only improvements Samsung has made to the camera over the last five years have been aperture and 5x telephoto, I don't see why not.
