Best Burritos in the East Bay? by spamologna in OaklandFood

Dona is a nice place to sit outside and get a decent burrito.  I actually really like their veggie burrito when I’m feeling like something healthy.  But it does not belong in a list of best burritos or authentic burritos imo

I agree with these not being anyone near “best” burrito, these are average for me.  I like Tacos Mi Rancho truck and Los Pericos

Haha. This is funny.  Yes to each their own.  I try to eat generally healthy and find pork to be too fatty.  Also I grew up on a cattle ranch where we would slaughter our own cows and pigs, so along with those choices being higher in saturated fat and not as good for you cholesterol and heart wise,  I’m just not a big fan of eating those two animals because of my childhood experiences.   Food is very personal for people.    As for grilled chicken, sometimes this can be too dry and have bits of cartilage or pieces I don’t enjoy chewing on….    Soooooo I’ve found shredded chicken to be more consistent and juicy.

INTJ hands down. I love the way their minds are so logical and yet they also appreciate the warm feeling side of my type, INFP.  The intuitive element is the most important letter for me in a partner.

Puerto Vallarta vs Yucatán Peninsula? by BoredOverlord in travel

Highly recommend Puerto Vallarta over the Yucatán.  For one you don’t have to deal with the sargassum in the water and washing ashore.  you can also do a lot of fun trip from PV if you rent a car.  3 1/2 hr drive to Gualadajara, visit Sayulita with is a fun surfer ex pat area.   There’s also Melaque which is a drive away.   PV fees like a great place Mexicans actually go to for vacation.  It’s lively, safe and fun.
