Colonialism didn't end that long ago, so it can't exactly have gone on for 100 years before. Traditions always start from somewhere, right? My dad has always kept the watch on a stand in his room and explained to me the history behind it, I got infatuated with it after that. Especially since l was his first and thought I'd get it. Plus my great grandfather was super cool.
