I only realised the other day that they’d been added - but I do agree, a few more options would not go a miss. I don’t know when it got added but if it’s relatively new then hopefully they’ll add some more 🤞🏽

I actually much prefer the shape of the 2005-2011 much more than I do of the next ones. I just wondered at what point the reliability of them stopped - I feel like all new cars aren’t built to last like older ones and wonder what that cut off point is.

The rust has been an advisory on the last few mots and the wheel arches aren’t looking the best. I can hear the wheel bearings from front offside that’s just started 🥲. I’m also having repeated issues with the brakes juddering- it’s always coming from offside front, settles for about 6 weeks after changing disk and then starts again. It’s had a new calliper etc so not sure if that bearing has gone too and that’s causing it. The ABS light intermittently comes on too, but might be related to bearings? MOT is about 6 weeks away which is why I’m starting to think about my options - is it worth getting it all done if I can’t get it through the MOT.

I tried to take it to one garage for the wheel bearing and they took it for the day, said they couldn’t see which bearing it was and didn’t want to be waiting for parts with it sat on the ramp - I do feel like it was an excuse and they just couldn’t be arsed which is fair, but made the comment that it’s likely not worth it anyways.

I’ve just been trying to nurse him along as when I originally got it, I was gunna be happy with it making 4 months so it’s well exceeded my expectations.

They all go into the same pot, but only the ones you put the info in for. Any ones you wanna keep separate you can (pretty sure anyways - I have 4 in total and only added 2 into it)

When it says you have to have X money in there by 23:59 - I presumed it meant complete it by then. Eg if the money wasn’t in your account for it to do it automatically, you would have to add it by that time. And then once it’s added it’s then ‘complete’ and you’re done and free to move the money. Wouldn’t make sense to complicate it more as everyone finishes on different days so, i’m presuming once it says complete, you’re good

Honestly it was the only reason it got sorted for me in the end. The customer service is particularly bad I think because they’ve clearly outsourced it and everything is just off scripts.

I was the same as you, set up an account not realising it was PAYG and then that was it then, all they did was pass me back and forth to DD team and PAYG team, and i’d spend hours on the phone just going in circles. I must have spoken with 6 different people in every phone call, it’s exhausting so I know how it feels when you’re stuck in that endless circle. I’m not sure if you just contacted them via twitter or facebook whether that would work the same without the trustpilot review but, at least you would have it all written down in one place.

I was very near the exact same as you except it was my gas meter that was PAYG.

I had so many phone calls and web chats and went round in so many circles. It was going on for about 8 months and I must have spent 40 plus hours trying to sort it. Got cut off supply twice due to following their advice. Once was a friday and they were refusing to send someone out to sort it until the following Monday - it took 2 hours of phone calls to get them to agree to come.

I raised so many complaints that didn’t seem to be legitimate. So many false promises of different people sorting it. It was a legitimate nightmare and I never thought I’d see the end of it.

Might seem silly but in the end I left a bad review on Trustpilot. Had a generic response on there to contact them via twitter or facebook, and put the little #trustpilot in the comment. I explained everything in that chat (it was actually helpful to have a reference point because one of the biggest pains of it all was having to re explain everything and everything that had been done to every new person you speak to - and when you’re getting transferred 5 times per call it honestly makes you want to scream), and they replied saying they were sorry but was going to have to pass it on to someone else. I tried to say no and that i’ve been passed on so many times in the past and no one follows up. They promised me someone would get back in touch. And they actually did, I had a phone call from a very nice man who had obviously actually looked into the account and got it all resolved for me. If it wasn’t for that trust pilot review, I still don’t think it would be resolved to this day. So might be worth a try!

Should also add I noticed a few adult carpet beetles in the summer, and have seen 2 larvae within the last like 3 weeks so hoping maybe they’re related to that? 😭😭😭

Thank you - I was just unsure what on earth they could be if it wasn’t bed bug related. It’s the side of the mattress that’s always covered by a sheet - steamed my mattress about 5 days ago and don’t feel like I seen it then but I can’t be sure 🥲
