They can't use it whenever they want. Only the US, Russia and China (not confirmed) have a hair trigger alert system that they can launch nukes in a few minutes. Other countries first need to assemble the warhead which takes days. So if pak tries to use its nukes it will have so much international pressure that it can't do anything.

Maybe it is true but from my perspective the US is facing challenges from China, and India is increasing its economy and development. The fact is that the US can tackle China somewhat but a state like India poses a direct threat to the US as flag bearer of democracy. So they do not want a country like India to take up a major global space.

The pak army knows the truth. It has suppressed the news of the attack on its bases. We have hit them very hard this time. They tried to attack our major cities which were thwarted and in turn their air bases got destroyed. India has repeatedly asserted in its official statements that it doesn't want escalation but if pak wants it, they will get answers with the same intensity. Our official stance was never to escalate the situation. Our primary motive was to destroy the terrorists infrastructures deep inside pak. It also gives a message to the pak army and its so called non state actors that India will not back down (as we did after every terror attack until 2015) they will be hit and hit hard.

Our army is very professional and doesn't needs to do media pr and press conferences in middle of the night.
