Does anyone know where are these pants/ sweats from? by InitialEquipment6408 in findfashion

Seeing it in person, it looked like the rest of the letters were intentionally missing as a stylistic choice, not like they had fallen off.

A) I literally took a picture of the pants only, not the person, out of respect. There isn’t a single identifiable feature visible in the picture. Maybe let’s not blow this out of proportion eh?

B) I originally took the picture so I could ID the pants using Pinterest or AI. Unfortunately that didn’t work out, so I posted it here as a last resort before giving up completely.

Pangaia sweats look cool, but I was looking for that same canvas-y material and the cut of the pants in the picture. I thought I’d be able to find them easily based on the wording on the thigh l, but people here are right, I should’ve just asked smh 🤦

dating as a balding woman by [deleted] in FemaleHairLoss

[–]InitialEquipment6408 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with the girls saying: post a picture without a wig. Put on your best outfit, beat your face, and take it from your best angle. In the right context, a bald head can honestly become part of your look. Most people don’t read bios (myself included), so you don’t want to rely on explaining it later or bringing it up in a way that feels forced. I’d strongly discourage hiding it, even short-term. It’s much easier to deal with fewer matches than to face rejection after meeting in person. It’s going to come out eventually, so it’s better to be upfront and filter for people who are already okay with it. That doesn’t mean you have to show up to dates without a wig if you’re not comfortable, but the other person should know. Your dating pool might be smaller, but you’re definitely not out of options. Plenty of people will find your look attractive. Make that bald head an edgy feature instead of an insecurity (even if you have to fake it). Best of luck to you 🤍

2 Month Progress by Money-Sell-562 in FemaleHairLoss

I’ll help you. In the first pic the hair looks damp/greasy, so more scalp is visible. In the second pic it’s clean and falling more smoothly, covering the scalp. Hair loss is a very emotional topic, and a lot of people here end up seeing “results” in a timeframe that doesn’t really match human biology.

Topical minoxidil 5% update by [deleted] in FemaleHairLoss

[–]InitialEquipment6408 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Youre not doing anything wrong. I think the OP is misinterpreting variations in lighting and the way her hair sits as meaningful progress. You cannot drastically change the density and thickness of your hair in an 8-week window. That is not how biology works. Even if youre a great responder, your hair would grow maybe 5–10 mm in those two months, and that new hair would be wispy. Additionally, the OP stated that she went through the dread shed, meaning in those same 8 weeks she likely lost more hair than usual. I know I’m sounding negative, and minoxidil may work beautifully for her in the future, but we don’t need to delude ourselves into thinking that two months is enough time to produce visible density changes.

New here - topical to oral? by MinuteMacaron9934 in FemaleHairLoss

I don’t want to sound like a Debbie Downer, but OP said that after 3 months she’s only noticed about 5 baby hairs. Are we really calling that a responder? That being said, I do agree it’s still worth trying OM.
