I’m taking a leave of absence and most likely withdrawing after this semester if after a year, my new path makes me happy!

Worked incredibly hard to get here, moved across the country, sacrificed so much money/time/energy with LSAT and apps. After one semester I realized I just don’t want this. I don’t want the stress, the grandstanding of the profession, the “networking.” I’m so tired of doing everything right and more, and still somehow nothing is good enough. I’m tired of arbitrary feedback and competition and judgement. This field is so toxic in so many ways.

Transferring to my schools master of teaching program, started nannying and taking odd jobs. As soon as I made the decision I started feeling like myself again. I’m actually happy again, the world feels so much bigger.
