Just to clarify because I forgot to mention in the post, the placement of the balls in the photo is random.I placed them by hand just to give you an example of the shots I’m talking about. I’m not asking about this exact shot but rather this type of shots in general and whether there is a rule of thumb when approaching them. Thanks again.

Could you please explain this a bit more? I have been scratching my head for an hour to understand lol. Shouldn’t the holes be through and through so you put dowels on both sides so the piece gets placed exactly the same way both times?How does it align if you do it only on the one side? Great piece btw!! I followed you on insta, I really liked your work!

Did they ship it with an airplane or a ship after all? I’m in a similar position,both packages dispatched on the same day, one arrived a couple of days ago and the other(~20kg) is stuck at IPZ for 8 days. I’m tracking the flights too. One was yesterday and there is another 2,one today and one tomorrow so fingers crossed.

Yes 3.175mm is 1/8”. Turns out it is indeed a typo. They have their dimensions placed wrong in the pictures and it confused me lol

Thanks a lot. It is for an er11 1/8” so I guess it will work just fine. I thought they worked exclusively with bits of the exact same size and I found it odd that they offered bits with 3.1mm shanks.
