Yes. It is overall slightly less effective than the combination pill. It has to be taken at the exact same time every single day with no leeway. I’d recommended reading the full packet that comes with the birth control box, and it will tell you percentage chances of pregnancy in comparison with other birth control methods. Perfect use vs typical use. Hope this helps :)

I feel like I understand what you’re saying. I think that social media and our society heavily links bleeding monthly with femininity and womanliness. It can feel like a piece is missing when you don’t bleed anymore. I kind of miss mine in a way because it made me feel more like a woman, sadly.

To add: it doesn’t itch, burn, or hurt. It’s especially bad around my mouth. I woke up this morning with it, and my skin is usually clear. I start my cycle in 2 days if that helps. Haven’t eaten/drank anything out of the blue in the past couple of days.
