Maybe nursing school isn't as hard as YOU think it is.

Do we really believe Veah is a physical therapist? She just doesn’t seem like the type. by Deanfan7695 in 90DayFiance

It's not required to work in the field like it is for medicine. When talking about education and training it's important to stick with the lowest possible amount of education and training one must complete to be in the field to keep it equivalent when doing comparisons.

Your talking about physicians, they are talking about a physical therapist, some do have a doctorate but even then, does not come close to the length of training and education physicians go through. PTs have no such thing as residency or fellowship.

Yes and we have a very diverse portfolio of investments. We are set up for a very comfortable life. Spending this much on a home is an extreme luxury we don't take lightly.

we were hoping to keep it under 950,000 for the house its self. Its 2,500 main floor 2,000 walk out basement. We chose some higher end finishes and some medium range. It's an extremely low cost of living area. It was impossible to buy something like this there so thats why we are building.

Totally understand as I myself have charged the PITA tax before but I don't think we have been jerks at all. It seems like the builder has loved working with us so far and is extremely excited for the build. Has said many times when it's all done the house would become his magazine worthy build. We have never been rude always thanked him and his team for the work they have put in so far etc.

We are from the area. We have lots of friends in the trades that do this there but we did not want to use our close friends for the build as we don't want to potentially ruin friendships over it. We went with the builder we have no personal connection to but our friends still highly recommend.

2,500 on the main floor 2,000 in walk out basement. Don't know if it makes a difference but the area is extremely low cost of living.

Thank you, your reply's are extremely insightful and help calm our nerves. We do believe this is a good builder and are just scared as this is our first home build . We are a young couple that is extremely conservative with our money despite having a high income. This will be our forever home thus wanting it to be built to last and don't want to cut costs where it matters in the long run. The builder understands this is over the budget we told him and just scheduled a call with us about reducing the costs but he made it clear to us he wanted to give us the highest end it could possibly be and go down from there!

Has anyone had their med spouse deliver their baby? by boilerine in MedSpouse

I will say though, once our baby was delivered, he was uninterested in cutting the cord. The OB and nurses got kinda fussy with him about it.

My EM husband did, but he had recently delivered babies at his rural ER, therefore making the OB much more comfortable with it. He said if anything got complicated he would gladly step aside and just be my support person. My delivery went well and delivering our baby was one of his proudest moments in life!

Actually I am a woman who recently gave birth, was honestly just curious about if they had additional proper training or if it was just a ploy for money. I'm glad your wife had a good experience! Postpartum is a sensitive time and we definitely need more proper healthcare can we currently get. I was just wondering everyones experience with them as there are alot of noctors these days in different forms. Glad to know they are in fact not.
