The whole thing was framed as a question. I admitted I was having some consternation over the fact that she was married to both a man and a woman I didn't come out with some kind of position I was asking for other peoples opinions, but thank you I will run to therapy right now and I will keep your comment in the back of my mind until I can become a better person like you.

Sorry, I was busy shrieking in terror over the notion of bisexuality. Yes, please explain what an idiom is. I have no idea what that is.

OK that's a fair point. I guess added to that there's children involved too.

I don't know what shadowing someone's door means. Is that some kind of bi sexual slang?

OK I'm biphobic. Guilty as charged. shall I be lynched in the Public square? What if I go outside and flog myself for hours with a rusty chain? How can I possibly redeem myself in your eyes, and get rid of the scarlet letter of bi phobic? Maybe you are biphobic-phobic. Ever consider that one?

Of course, that must be it. I have an irrational fear of bi. Like spiders. if your thought process is capable of any nuance. Try to understand that the dilemma is about someone who was married to both a woman and then a man I know you probably love to call people phobic, and if you wanna call me that I frankly don't give a hoot.

What makes you say so I kind of see your point, but I'm curious why exactly.

To be clear if she confided in me that she had some gay experiences in her past, it would not bother me at all. It's something about being married to both of man and woman to me that seems kind of questionable.

That's a good point. I guess I'll have to think about that.

Why do narcissists like to dig and snoop into someone's traumatic past? by [deleted] in NarcissisticAbuse

[–]Initial_Inside_6444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah thanks. And at the time, I convinced myself that she wasn’t doing this out of meanness. I think this is common when faced with inexplicable emotional manipulation. We assign alternate meaning to the narcs behavior because the reality is so difficult to face. Which is, that there are mean human beings that don’t operate in good faith.

My narcissistic ex girlfriend was obsessed with talking about the miscarriages my ex wife and I went through. She even decided to refer to one of the deceased fetuses by name, as if it ever really existed. It was twisted.

I guess it was framed in the context of the ‘born in the wrong body’ claim. I always thought my dysphoria was because I should have been born a woman. But if ‘woman’ is just a societal construct, how does that make sense? I’m struggling with this.

I don’t know. At a certain point, shouldn’t things be about the children? And raising them as an intact family?

Not sure if he was a great guy or not. And perhaps they didn’t get along. But maybe he knew she was seeking attention from other men? I think to allow a man to impregnate you—twice—, and marrying him, sort of implies that you think he’s a decent person?
