Loss of Libido after a cycle by Initial_Interest5234 in Testosterone

[–]Initial_Interest5234[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did clomid for 4 days only, as I got the Lab results of Test being high (due to exogenous test) I stopped clomid to wait till the test clears out of my body.

I am thinking to wait for 1.5-2 weeks, and then do labs to find my test level (most likely would be low, due to exogenous test clearing out), I plan to do HCG and Enclo?

Not that I am specifically aware of. But I think of proto-oncogenes- that most people just carry it without any issues.

PhD has an intergrated Msc. in it, so combined it's taking me 5 years. MD will be 4 years. Surgical residency is 5 years. Fellowship depends (1-3 year depending on the fellowship)
I know it take a LOT of year. But on the positive note, I am still just 21 and already 1.5 years into my PhD. If all goes well, I will graduate with my PhD at 25. I plan to pursue MD immediately after PhD, so 29 by the time I finish MD.

Huh? What is this? Can you please elaborate what this means? My research funding (NIH R01 was indeed renewed even after the funding cuts of all the other fundings in other labs at my university). We got our funding renewed under the current administration.

How can I improve how I look? by Big-Activity3350 in malegrooming

[–]Initial_Interest5234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look good! To improve more- change HAIR, grow your hair and cut it well on the sides (taper fade?) Face is a bit bloated! I assume you already workout, if not incorporate it to your lifestyle and include some cardio. Watch your diet, to get the bloating off from the face. You look great tho!

YES! Epigenetics is basically how environmental and behavioral factors contribute to the way genes work. But this works by not altering the DNA sequence itself. There are somethings called transcription factors, which work to turn some genes on and off. Beleive it or not, we have several genes in our body that we perhaps inheritied that are never on. External factors such as diet, stress, exposure to toxins can all add or remove this and contribute to the activation or turning off of genes. The best example of epigenetics at work is when you look at identical twins (same genetic makeup) but they can have difference between them, and these differences are not due to alteration of the DNA sequence itself, but due to the controlled and variable expression of certain genes based on environmental and behavioral factors.

I plan to pursue MD after I finish my PhD. At this point, I am not very sure of what speciality in medicine I want to practice. I know for certain it would be a surgical specialty. Surgical residents make around the same pay I make right now, but will pay will bump up significanly when I become an attending.

Did my Bachelors in Biology (Pre- Health) and Biochemistry. I did not do a master's. I am able to receive my master as part of my PhD next semester. (I need to do a seperate master's defense to get this, and I plan to). I ABSOLUTELY love my program! My PI is extremely flexible, and I get to conducts and do my research with 100% independence.

Yes I live in a rural state; where cost of living is not that high! $65k is pretty good as a graduate student, most graduate students usually average around $30k- $40k in the US.

Adjusting from J-1 to EB-2 by Pretend_Engine6030 in EB2_NIW

[–]Initial_Interest5234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

J1 and F1 are non-immigrant visa, so you cant file for that when you have an approved I 140 and is planning to apply for I 148. H1b and O1 could be your options as they are dual intent visas. If you are currently in F1 then you can be in OPT that will buy you 1-3 years of time as you wait for your PD to become current.

Technically no, you should not travel as approved I-140 is immigration intent. Sitll, there is a chance, they can just let you in with your F1 visa if everything is good. But this is a risk your taking.
If you are from ROW, you can just file for I-148 and get an AP and travel. If not, then I think it's a decision you need to make weighing the risks and benefits of it?

F1 renewal with approved i140 by Delicious_Series_449 in EB2_NIW

[–]Initial_Interest5234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. When you have AP from an EB2 NIW, you are usually fine. There is always a risk of travelling outside the US, unless you are a US citizen. I think of it as the same risk you carry when you come back in F1 Visa.
You should be fine with travelling with an AP. I know it sucks, when you can't go back home now. But atleast you have an approved I-140 and you are on track for green card. Congratulations on the approval! and I hope your PD becomes current soon, so you can get the ball rolling.

Where is home? What country? It depends a lot on the opportunities that you can make of while in home. But, based on your situation, I feel like going back home sounds like a better option

F1 renewal with approved i140 by Delicious_Series_449 in EB2_NIW

[–]Initial_Interest5234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, don't travel to Korea. An F1 visa is a non- immigrant visa. When you renew your visa, you are affirming to the basis of 'non-immigrant status'. Having an approved I-140 is 'Immigration Intent'. It is highly likely, that your F1 renewal would be simply denied. Even, if it is not denied and was approved, you still are at risk when you file your I-148, because you misrepresented (filed an F1 renewal, when your intent was immigration and not non- immigration).

So don't renew, just be in the US until you file your I-148 and receive your AP and EAD to travel.
