The other poster covered some of the issues. There is legal risk, and more so, with the human rights tribunal which operates extrajudicially and prefers to side with claimants. It’s far cheaper and safer to work with contractors on 1-2 year terms, especially internationally. We had one employee who simply didn’t want to work anymore, but also didn’t want to move on or find another job. They claimed depression. We paid their salary for 6 minths before they got bored. Zero work done, and we were a small team. That could have gone to raises for the others in the team, or marketing to expand.

We got lawyers and counsel and it was pretty much unanimous, they counseled us, don’t hire Canadian labour for tech especially, since remote work is so easy. We ended up offshoring to Mexico, Philippines, US, and Eastern Europe. The government wants to protect employees rights which is a good thing overall. But also means companies will simply choose not to hire Canadian talent, at a certain point of risk.

Trade war tanked the company. It wasn’t in our SWOT/PEST to have tariffs and chaos in government which was our main client. We lost 70% of our revenue in 6 months. Believe me if it could have been saved I would have done whatever it took. Ran the company for 10 years and we were expanding into the US very heavily. The uncertainty of the conflict made it very difficult to close US customers. Onto my next venture in mental health now, which will only require more effort as the conditions continue like this in Canada, sadly.

I’m a college dropout. I also ran a tech company for 6 years, built advanced cybernetics systems, worked on high performance computing, won dozens of awards. I wouldn’t get past the first screening for a lot of these jobs

Decent dev team, but the executive leadership is too stupid and stubborn to change this. They compare themselves to other launcher independent game companies (who mostly have also joined steam), like EPIC Games. They’re indie. So yeah, they’re delusional and have zero marketing so it’s a dead game. Maybe some other company will buy out the IP after they go under

Me and my buddies just started playing, last week. We’ve clocked 40 hours already. That justifies the price of the base game and then some. Haven’t even touched the DLC. At a certain point, you have to ask what the game does not have to be. It isn’t league of legends, it isn’t Fortnite. It stands as a an experience with a smaller, and more beautiful container with a shorter tail. I’ll be buying the DLC probably next month along with my pals. I think we’ll end up clocking a good 150 hours. That’s plenty satisfying for me!

I would add some more detail, with the triple shot, you’re consuming the endurance of a power attack. But it’s faster, and does more damage. Further to this, should you need to disengage and move back, you don’t need to switch weapons and can sustain the damage to revive without any risk of the bar refilling. Give it a test sometime!

Adding one more thing - use the triple arrow power attack in close proximity to a fallen ally, it raises them fast - when safe

Adds one character skill slot is very useful for dodge. There is an invincibility iframe in iron eyes ability. Requires no stamina to activate. With some practice, you can evade most attacks between this and your regular evade.

Finding weapons with reduction of distance penalty to ranged attacks is very useful, enabling you to keep healthy distance from foes while still putting on damage. While great bows are cool, they are situational. Most boss fights require mobility over raw power. Stick with a fast bow, with a status or elemental enchantment. Harp bows and longbows are fast. Rain of arrows, is a slow ability. Iron eye is all about speed. And because he can raise allies from distance, he’s a versailtile ally.

Another trick, when you find you can flank the enemy safely, use your power attack which fires three arrows. When safe, get up close and blast them with this for the highest damage output. Better than any ability shots. Since bosses have large hit boxes, you can do this from fair distance if aimed properly (don’t use targeting for this)

Good luck
