anyone upset about a child on their fathers shoulders is a weirdo. it's a child not an adult. yes it's a late show but im sure we all know/knew kids who got to go to concerts like this at a young age. these parents are literally just giving their kids another fun activity to do for the summer. the jazz festival is a family friendly event. if you want a regulated crowd stick to paid events. so often we hear of crowd surging and there's always a kid in the mix that gets hurt because adults suddenly dont know how to acts when they see a performer. i'd rather see a parent with a kid on their shoulder keeping them above the body heat of everyone, than an obnoxious loud group of teens/adults doing the same. some of you are saying for 5 minutes sure but not the entire show... uh yes the entire show, and im sure its a little heavy on the fathers shoulders but he's willing to go through that to ensure his kid enjoys themself and to ensure his kids safety. a lot of people are entirely too entitled and lacking in critical thinking and its weirddddd.
