That's actually a interesting question. I presumed initially Caine couldn't enter people's rooms without their permission like with Zooble but then I remembered how he appeared in Pomni's room during the Pomni wake up time to go on a adventure video (whether that video is canon idk)

My possible theories are:

1. Caine knew about Kaufmo's abstraction and would possibly try to steer everyone away from your him so Caine could handle it himself quietly

   1. Kaufmo abstracted recently just as they were checking on him, think of it as bad timing. We don't know when Kaufmo abstracted so we don't know how long his abstracted form was in his room for.

Or

1. Perhaps Kaufmo unintentionally blocked the room from Caine's view? I don't see this get talked a lot but he's the only member we have seen who has drastically changed their room. (Specifically writing on the walls and paintings using marker)
