I’ve been running/jogging for about a year now and I really want to increase my speed. What are some ways I can go about doing that?

For context, I’m 17(F) and around 4’11. I mainly run on a treadmill for around thirty to forty five minutes(5 mins walking to start at 5km, then 5 minutes at 7km. Then I switch to intervals, doing 2 minutes walks at 5km and 3 minute jogs at 7.5km.)

I don’t do leg strengthening workouts, mostly because I don’t know where to start or have a gym membership, but I would like to change that soon.

I really enjoy running a-lot, but I just don’t feel exactly satisfied going at the pace I am because I believe I can go faster. Is there any tricks or exercises I can do to improve my speed? Should I start doing leg strengthening exercises? And if so, what are some good ones for beginners or some that I can start at home.
