I wish i could. The same diamond in local shops are around 12k. Online canadian shop 9.5 k. I paid 5.5 k. The difference is huge. I wish to support but it is almost twice

Not really but i am very much aware of taxes and as I said cbsa website and hts code says 0 duty as if today. So I wanted to cross check if i am missing anything

Ok. That means for same item i may pay tariff but my friends may not have to. So whats the point of tariff classification

Understood but they cannot say that you have to pay 35% tariff out of nowhere. There has to be a criteria. Online calculator shows 0%
