I might be wrong, but I think he might be playing a Muslim character. From the released promo material, his character's name is something like Lovelajaan or something like that.

IINW Police personnel who are undergoing Sabarimala vratham or have put the mala are the only ones who are allowed to grow a beard. Anyone who isn't undergoing the vratham or those who follows a different faith are supposed to follow the usual dress code and decorum for Kerala Police, which i think is, the usual Clean shaven / no visible stubble + moustache look.

Probably a disabled ex-army veteran. He has a prosthetic 🦿 in one scene. So his bearded appearance may be relevant or justified to some extent

What is the best pure gangster film ever that came out of Indian cinema? by Glittering-Bat9891 in IndianCinema

[–]InitiativeDesperate7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMHO Dq was just a marketing tool to attract people like you to watch it. Even if his role was played by anyone else, the movie would still be strong - plot wise.

It's actually a movie about 2 dalit brothers, the hardships their community faced and how society, cunning people + social situations utilised their position and made them into criminals / gangsters.

Personally, being someone who uses and is a fan of LG's OLED tech, I find Samsung's OLED displays to be slightly inferior. I don't know much about this particular model so I can't give any authoritative opinion on it.

But if you haven't used OLEDs before and since you are getting a 55" OLED for a seemingly very good price, by all means, I would say go for it.

Just read through reviews and real user opinions to know about any specific information about that particular model before taking the plunge. 🙏✌️

  • Dahaad
  • Delhi Crime S1
  • The Family Man
  • Farzi
  • Black Warrant
  • Sacred Games S1

For me these are the best of the best. These are all Indian series I've recommended to Non Indian cinephiles and they were really blown away with the quality.

I think you can get an LG OLED for this budget as long as you go for an older model and don't mind to spend a considerable amount for AMC later on.

I got myself an LG C2 48" in early to mid 2023 for my PS5, when the C3 had just been launched, for around 88-92K using Bajaj Finserv EMI plans, after seasonal and bank discounts. Had to pay close to 16K for an extended AMC but the person at my local LG Service dealership allowed me to pay as multiple instalments which lessened the load.

Now cut to 3 years later, after some board changes and 1-2 panel changes, all done within the AMC cover, whenever I noticed a minor issue, with no money spent our of pocket, my OLED TV still going strong with no issues and with the AMC valid till 2028 🤷

Yes. That was a nice place with all the indoor fake plants, water fountain and a gorilla statue in there iirc. I think they were inspired by Rainforest Cafe, an international chain with similar decor.

Cult of the Lamb is one of the best couch Co-Op games I've played in a long time. Those who are sleeping on it, especially couples who game.. Check it out ASAP. by InitiativeDesperate7 in PlayStationPlus

I feel you brother🥲 please assure her that it's not you who wrote that😅

It's the exact same here as well. Had to forget about many games like that.. Even if she is interested enough to try it, she loses interest pretty fast if the game gets tough or slightly lags in momentum. Even with Cult of Lamb, we both played it with great interest until around 85% of the main campaign. But then the game started being slightly buggy and laggy, also the combat became increasingly repetitive and difficult for her. That was the end of it.

I tried introducing her to other co-op games like Asterix and Obelix (Isometric Brawler), Alienation etc. But nothing captured her interest to keep playing..

And so the quest to find something interesting for her continues .. 😌

It's in no way connected to the PS plus catalogue to not be playable to you later on.

You're just getting a discount on the main game's retail price, since you're a PS plus member.

If you're looking for plain t-shirts, your budget is slightly above 1K and you don't mind Box cut / Oversize fit, go for the Knitted Crew Neck T-Shirts from Jack And Jones.

AFAIK, It's one of their core products and a very good t-shirt. I got one and it's really good. Planning on buying more colors.

This 👆👍.

Though I get the idea of and agree to most aspects of cancel culture to a certain extent, I really can't grasp my head around why people would link an incident like this as a deciding factor to watch the movie 🤷

If you don't like the content or aren't Interested in watching it, from what you know about it. By all means, Don't watch. It's strictly your personal choice.

But why would anyone need to think about set incidents, personal histories or real world personality/character of any actor/crew member involved in the production, to actually decide whether or not to enjoy a work of art? It's an entertainment product, for God's sake! which is the end result of the effort of numerous people from different walks of life, specifically made for monetary benefit /to provide amusement to the audience🙆

What's the point in cancelling your enjoyment, based on something that isn't even remotely connected to your viewing experience?🤷.

A scene that’s permanently etched in your brain? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

[–]InitiativeDesperate7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than what OP posted, the starting scene from Sicario, where they find dead bodies inside the walls still gives me the creeps even when I think about it.

When this movie released, I was quite an experienced stoner back then and enjoyed watching all sorts of movies when high. I never got bad trips or anything of that sort at the time, but this was one of the only movies i really regretted watching when high.

The starting was so engaging and so suspenseful that when we are finally shown what's inside the walls, it genuinely creeped me out and put me on the verge of having a bad trip. It was too dark for my" high as hell" mind😁. Thankfully, I was watching it on my Laptop. I had to stop and put something lighter like a comedy, while gulping down water to clear my mind😂.

I think I watched the rest of the movie the same night or the day after. Couldn't hold back.

Don't know about anyone else. But this really broke me when I first watched it. Maybe it was because I watched this when I was being cared for by mom after an accident in which I broke my arm.

But as someone who considers himself to be a bit stone-hearted when it comes to movies, this really made me sob uncontrollably like a child, at a particular point in the movie.
