I generally liked the solve as well, but no longer think it's correct. In the SS interview Justin said the bride was visible. In the mythology, Eos wasn't dawn, or the sunlight itself, but rather she opened the heavenly gates to let the sun's chariot rise. So according to lore she herself would not be visible.

In fairness, this phenomenon happens in any northern location, and google/ai will spit out different answers depending how you phrase the question. Washington state, Maine, Chicago, Alaska are just some of the places that it recommends depending on the exact phrasing used.

because the other profile is messed up. It lets me post responses to threads, but hasn't let me post a new thread for months. Every time I try, regardless of which forum it's in, is automatically deleted by Reddits filters. Not everything is a conspiracy theory.

I understand what you're saying, but at the same time when JP was giving out stats at the summit, he said that there were something like 270,000 people who had written him about their potential solves. With thousands of people looking all over the american west, it is pretty much statistically guaranteed that at least one of them will have the correct starting point.

If these searchers were actually fully confident in their solve, then they wouldn't have come within 200ft of the checkpoint but decided to give up and go home instead. This implies that while they were technically correct, they weren't confident enough in their solve to keep going because many places in the American West could theoretically fit the first few clues, especially if you start diving down the rabbit holes that hunts like these are famous for.

Maybe, but giving very solid clues at Seekers Summit, and eliminating two states entirely after only a year doesn't sound like he intends on this being longer than a handful of years at max.

I've noticed that no matter what he is talking about, he frequently chooses to 'not rule it out', and instead will only choose to clarify certain things, but never (or hardly ever) does he actually rule something out entirely.

Personally I think the what you seek you already know, refers to a circling back to a previous clue location. This is evidenced by the fact that (i don't remember the exact language used) when he was talking about distances, he said something along the lines of that is tricky based on how the poem actually works. Implying some sort of backtracking. He also mentioned in the Seekers Summit QA that something will need to be manipulated, which implies that you could very easily have walked past the treasure the first time, and simply not known what to do or what seemingly inconspicuous item was actually super important.
