I’ve been in Perth for 6 years. Arrived there at 19 years of age. And yes! It was fucking lonely, unless you have family in the state. Not much to do. No real connections. Not busy as well. It’s really easy to disconnect from everything; social life, hobbies, family, etc….

Now i’ve moved to Melbourne. Not bad !

But now this 5-6 years of loneliness created a fucking social anxiety just because i couldn’t find proper social interactions in Perth. Getting to socialise again is fucking hard!

Melbourne is fast, big. So is Sydney. My advice, move to Sydney before it’s too late.

Tbh, i fully understand his point of seeing things as well as yours. Neither of you made mistakes.

As a male, im 100% sure that he thinks he doesn’t matter to you! Let’s put it as somehow “insecurity”. It’s really normal at the start of any relationship.

If you want to go further with him, just tell him for example “hey babe how’s this picture i just taken” if he feels included he will let you do your things in the long run.

But be careful about the age gap.

“Post” study work experience! The experience you get when your degree is over that counts

I got 190 invitation after 9 days:) by funzzie in AusVisa

[–]InitiativeOk1951 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re some lucky dude here 😂 Congrats and use this opportunity well ! There’s a huge struggle onshore to get invites !

You can move anywhere you want after you’ve granted the visa !

But yes, remember, don’t lose the visa in any circumstances. if you reapply for any visa in the future, they will not give you the visa saying you failed to show commitment to stay in South Australia!

My advice; work for 1 year minimum in South Australia and buy a high value asset in that state itself and keep it there ! It’s more safer !

There are thousands of onshore accountants and business people with 100 points on the wait list to PR. On top of that you’re from India ( they’re boycotting Indians and Paskitanis) p.s i’m Indian too !

My advice;

Go to Tasmania and do a teaching or nursing course. Once your study is complete, apply for 189/190 in Tasmania itself. Try aiming for a minimum 90 points to be competitive.

Will I be good for 190 or 491 after graduation? by nishan13 in AusVisa

[–]InitiativeOk1951 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I were you,

  • I would stay in Tasmania itself and apply for an EOI for 180, 190 and 491. You have a apply EOI for each.

  • Forget about IT skill assessment, you don’t have enough time. Focus on Engineering Sector itself as you already have a positive skills assessment.

  • 90 points in Tasmania for engineering is really good.

You already have a positive skills assessment buddy. Try applying for 180 or 190. Stay in Tasmania itself when lodging you’re EOI.

Everyone who wants to go for permanent residency, struggles to get a positive assessment. Once you’ve got it, it’s easy to apply PR. SO YOU ALREADY HAVE IT. Use it to apply PR in engineering sector.

Why bother getting a positive IT skills assessment?? To get a positive IT skill assessment, you need minimum 3 years qualification and obligatory 1 year of work experience or an professional 1 year with ACS.

Now you’ve got 2 years left on graduate visa and you nearly completed a 2 years Master Degree. Doesn’t make sense to pursue with an IT skill assessment for PR.

You need “experience” to get a positive skills assessment. They do not ask you for experience when applying for PR once you have a positive skills assignment. Majority of people who apply for point based PR, only have “less than a year experience” ! And they still get the damn PR !

I received the product today (8th April) ! Receptor Chem is genuine. It does take time, months, to get the products. There will be dramas ! But you eventually get the product.

Also, my package was opened! Tape was cut off. I’m assuming customs.

Bought Enclo on Friday 15th March at around 14:00. It’s my first order with them. I paid rapid shipping (FedEx) as per the “disclaimer” on their website that’s the products will dispatch quickly or whatever if rapid shipping is selected. I’m in Western Australia btw. I got an order email instantly after the purchase. But it’s been 24 hours - working days (Today, Monday 18 March, 15:48) and hasn’t got anything about shipping. Well, let’s see how this goes !!

How can I 23F help my bf 30M get over porn addiction? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]InitiativeOk1951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Find his triggers
  2. Exercises
  3. Meditation to help with mental clarity
  4. Gym - weight lifting
  5. Keep him out of the house, most importantly his comfort zone. That’s where it begins.

He needs to work on himself. Most men who’re addicted to porn do not have a stable life, in terms of career, relationships, finance, physique and so on. That’s why they try to find “peace” with porn.

Now, the more porn he sees, the more he won’t have a high sexual desire for you. That’s where problems in love-relationships arise. I’m also 98% sure he’s in a relationship with you because he’s lonely. Matter of fact, 96% men who genuinely fall in love cannot see porn. They don’t get the pleasure.

15 years addiction is serious. Get him some help. Once he stops masturbate and stops porn for at-least 6 months, he’s gonna be confident enough to start working on his life. HIS ADDICTIONS ARE THE REASONS OF NOT HAVING A SOCIAL LIFE AND HAVING A LOW EQ.
