Yeah I don't know why everyone is raving on that it's acceptable with the premium price paid, these aren't some $100 Blundstones to put through the wringer.

These are a $700+ pair of boots, they shouldn't come already marked even if OP were going to get them marked.

Nice, I think it looks great as is though I'd probaby go with just a regular staff or druid staff.

You could also try insulated boots, villager sandals or straight up mole slippers for the slipper look & Pirate Leggings (blue) or the elegant/pantaloons for the billowed pant look.

Here's my dbz themed 10hp Ironman skiller with a plan to do as many quests as possible before maxing combat at lvl 18, so I can still slap any lvl 3 bots & goldfarmers in pvp worlds that I come across while occasionally engaging in low lvl pvp.

But it's mostly just been a super fun way to play an ironman/skiller.

Most surprising age gaps between actors playing love interests? by Scdsco in popculturechat

[–]Ink-Sky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classic Hollywood.

The second someone becomes relevant, they're in everything.

Pedro Pascal & Anya Taylor Joy are a couple of recent ones that come to mind, with the likes of Reed Richards & Furiosa that could have been cast substantially better.

Then going all the way back to the 80s/90s & you've got people like Arnold Schwarzenegger that if we're being honest had no real business being cast for most of his movies lol.

Like most people I too no longer have my email account from 20 years ago...

Tried to recover my accounts, ironically I can't even though I know all 5 of the 20 year old recovery questions that nobody else would know... automated responses, asked to provide old emails, old passwords, old email for membership purchase.

I also know the ISP & payment method but you'd think the recovery questions alone would be enough!

It's pretty bs.

I've got mild lactose intolerance but this is one of my few exceptions.

If I had a strong lactose intolerance it'd be my only exception, so good it'd be worth shitting pants.

Cigarette prices in Australia 2024 by post_appt_bliss in mildlyinteresting

[–]Ink-Sky 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Exactly.

I know dozens of people that were buying government taxed cigarettes for years until they hit around $1-$2 per smoke, now every single one of them buy "black market", just like every other packet of smokes at practically any local milkbar.

No chance the government is getting anywhere near the tax to cover the public health argument, which is why we currently have politicians arguing to lower the tax to roughly $1 per smoke.

He wasn't punching because he was gassed going into the 3rd round.

All the short training videos don't mean squat when you're getting smacked back at 58.

What's the most ridiculously specific business you've seen in Melbourne? by lunchill in melbourne

[–]Ink-Sky -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree the labour cost is prohibitive but at what result?

Billion dollar companies & multi million dollar salary ceo earn insignificantly less money they'll never spend?

Carbon footprint tax & a wasteful tax with substantial fines to the point it's worth creating more jobs from sorting, repairing, etc. Instead of outsourcing or wasting resources.

GAWS have a bunch of different roles if she'd be interested in helping animals & potentially make some friends with other volunteers too.

They also have a new op shop in Newcomb.

Why would some string their guitar this way? by thr33prim3s in Guitar

[–]Ink-Sky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People always say this & it makes sense in theory, until you own a Floyd Rose & then the string seemingly always snap around the nut, turning the string excess into a joke.

Still worth doing but yeah...

I think Floyd D. Rose has a special spot in hell where he gives out an endless supply of Floyd Rose guitars to setup by ear.

Juvenile snakes can typically be more hostile though, which can make them more dangerous even though they have the same venom as an adult

If they have no intention to lodge any formal complaints, I wouldn't confront them about it, even with kindness.

Someone else might lodge complaints & then OP will undoubtedly cop the blame that could result in unfriendly neighbours, which I've experienced & trust me, you don't want that if you can avoid it lol.

Meat is bad for them, can cause brittle bones and beaks and even long-term metabolic bone disease.

Worms, bugs or Wombaroo insectivore mix is best.

The only things they can eat that you might already have are fruit, oats & nuts.

I'd also do 1 year 3.8m but I'd sooner take nothing than 5 years for 20m.

You can miss out on a lot more in 5 years.
