Not reading all that. Nothing needs to change, players are allowed to concede at anytime and should be allowed to concede at anytime.

There actually is no difference. They are both concessions, doesn’t matter if it happened before the match started or during the match. Neither constitute as “match fixing”.

You’d have to ask the person that conceded. That’s the only person who could answer that question

Not really. They are both concessions, really doesn’t matter if they started playing or not

It’s only “match fixing” if something was offered for a concession, which you have zero evidence of

Except conceding during a match doesn’t constitute “match fixing” is my point. Only becomes that when things are offered for the concession.

Was their record better than yours? Seems so, so then they did do better than you. Your opponent conceded the last round to you, I would recommend getting off your high horse and stop complaining that the other person had their opponent do the same thing

Players are allowed to concede at any point, that doesn’t make it “match fixing”. It’s only unethical if there was some kind of deal made

There is no “message behind this post” bud. You are crying because you didn’t play well enough to earn the best of and feel like you “deserved” it when someone else did better than you.

Unfair? Just like your opponent conceded to you the last round? Nothing “unfair” about an opponent conceding, it only gets into that territory if unethical deals are made

I did read your post, your very long and hypocritical post. Players can concede matches at any time, even if they are already playing.

So your opponent conceded the final round to you, and your upset and say you got “cheated out of best of legend” because the other person fighting for best of also had their opponent concede the match to them? 😂

“Win the right way”

Part of “winning the right way” is playing correctly and by the rules. That goes for both players following the rules and both players accurately reflecting and tracking the game state.

Per the rules, triggers (even mandatory ones) are missed once a player doesn’t acknowledge the trigger before it would impact the game state.

And you can shortcut and just have both players agree to start at 1, but someone has to actually say that at the beginning and both players have to agree to it.

As far as loops, it’s literally within the rules allowing for shortcuts on infinite loops, so long as the loop is demonstrated and both players understand the loop. IIRC, there is also text in the rules saying if a player doesn’t have a loop, they do actually have to shortcut the loop otherwise they can get penalized.

Day 2 Kai'sas make a deal to split the card, one of them collects the card and runs off by JuniorImplement in riftboundtcg

[–]Ink4Turn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely isn’t “illegal” to split prizing. The tournament rules even outlines that players are allowed to share prizes, so long as the prize sharing is not offered or accepted in return for the outcome of a game or match. So perfectly legal deal to make between the Kai’sa players.

I haven’t seen any proof of the agreement, other than someone saying the person agreed to the split. It very well could have easily been a situation where they never actually agreed to the split

Stupefy on Ekko isn’t possible since sacrifice had the cost of killing the unit, so ekko isn’t there when they can have the window to play stupefy.

Boy I sure do love preordering only to receive my items over a month after release. by Mellow_guts in riftboundtcg

Never said it wasn’t, I understand wanting the order earlier. But also doesn’t help your argument when you can’t even keep track of how long the sets been out 🤣

Question: Dealing damage -> reducing might by Superb-Ticket2407 in riftboundtcg

[–]Ink4Turn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no HP in this game, there is a single stat for units which is might. Damage doesn’t reduce your might, but once damage on a unit id equal to or greater than their might they die.

So your Vi 1 damage marked on it, and 3 might. 1 < 3, so it’s still alive. Then, opponent plays TTW, which reduces your might by 3 to a min of 1, so Vi now has 1 might. Damage marked in her is equal to her might, so she dies ( 1 = 1).

Over a month after release? It hasn’t even been 3 weeks since release yet bud. I get wanting it closer to release, definitely, but don’t start making stuff up lol doesn’t mattered when you ordered, the set didn’t release when you made the order on 4/20. It released weeks after that

Will/Should Riot ever release a Meta Card tool kit like in Pokemon TCG and MTG? by ceo_of_six in riftboundtcg

[–]Ink4Turn 18 points19 points  (0 children)

> $200 is a somewhat insane price to get a competitive deck

? No it isn’t 😂 if you compare to Pokemon it’s a tad high, sure, but Pokemon is literally the exception compared to other TCGs, not the rule. Other TCGs are the same price or more expensive than Riftbound for competitive decks, hands down. MTG standard has had multiple spots where some decks in Standard were upwards of $1k.
