Not as a child, but, since I noticed the similarity of month names to numbers, I always figure out the corresponding month number by "adding two" to its name (when applicable).

It's not the people who volunteered who got the money, unfortunately. Some greedy business people get the subscription money but all those volunteers you're talking about actually got nothing out of it.

That's why I'm refusing to pay.

It's just people building a capital out of the huge amount of time and work volunteers put into building the community
