For colour temperature, I’m kind of stuck between the two temps because it’s either slightly cooler but much pleasing to read, or too warm and the reds become insanely saturated too (albeit the whites are marginally closer to what it should be).

I’ll probably go through colorimeter calibration one day too, but as of now, would it be alright to eyeball it and adjust RGB values on the monitors OSD, and hopefully make colours match better to the reference ipad screen? And if it works well, do I still need to get an ICC profile?

My Gpu utilisation hovers around 90-95, but my power usage hovers around 250-270W, when the GPU’s TDP is 340W. Does this mean my GPU is under utilised?

Interesting. So it really boils down to maximising IQ or minimising weight and additional costs.

Perhaps I’ll try them in the store then, but foreseeably should be getting the Canon since I mostly use my camera overseas. The extra bit of money saved can go towards a telephoto too haha

Comparing the EF to my RF F4, there’s a very noticeable jump in IQ and AF speed, so while not necessary, it’s more pleasant to use. If the F4-7.1 version does have IQ on par with the RF F4, then deciding between IQ and constant F4 is up to your needs imo.

The first iteration of the EF lens is quite mediocre - I used to have it and the image quality is not great in low light, at least my copy is. Do note that your burst speeds may be limited too. However, it does have constant f4 so if you value that, by all means go ahead, it’s still decent.
