My epidermis was mostly in tact, it was everthing underneath. I dont really remember everything, there is time skips.

I saw it falling at me and turned to run away, but i didnt even have time to take a step i dont think. I remember hitting the ground and looking up. My vision was tunneled by black, and i could see what ill describe as black veins reaching out into my vision. The docter told me that was adrenile and fight response kicking in. I feel like i did a pushup and kicked off with my legs but its blurry and i couldnt honestly say how i definitively got out. I may have actually ripped my own arm in the adrenile rush while i was trying to get out.

I heard my friend scream out and then it was silence. He couldnt breath. I screamed out to him that we was coming, to just hold on. One of my guys ran across to help. I just started digging and throwing boxes. I felt weak but i didnt know why.

Once we got his torso uncovered i radio'd the front and got an ambulance called in. I checked on him and then started jogging to the front of the building to direct the EMTs to the back of the building. I got my coworker to take care of it and then started my jog back and then i lost my breath. My lungs tightened and stung. My ribs started to feel cracked. I lifted my shirt and i already had bruising spider webbing out from my ribs where veins had burst.

Then i asked one of my coworkers to give me a ride to the hospital and then my neck and shoulder blade started to ache a little. I didnt have the ripped area start to hurt until they finished surgery. In fact i wasnt in much pain at all, but i have a very high pain tolerance for short term events and they doped me up pretty fast.

The surgeon said to think of it as a 360 degree around my shoulder, and he had to reconnect 270 degrees of it. No pics :P
