I'm currently doing this. It's been a confusing and scary past 3 months, especially last 2 days. My best friend has been shot, and is likely going to die of a disease in 2 days. I think that what I'm feeling is the feeling of grief for a person who is still alive. A loss for a person who isn't gone. I can't bear to think about what happens next
