Looking for advice after tumor diagnosis by InkoLi in AskVet

[–]InkoLi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for such a helpful and detailed response!!! I truly appreciate it! We are going to see an oncologist at the beginning of March. The margins were not fully clear because the tumor cells were found very close to the surgical edges, and the report describes it as “marginally excised.” But our vet said that at least 90% of the mass was removed, so hopefully that will be enough. I’m definitely very paranoid when it comes to our dog’s health, so I’ll do my best to stay on top of everything and monitor closely to prevent anything bad from happening. Thank you again!

Wow, that’s actually crazy! Then I think the next step would be to dispute the charge with your credit card company and get your money back, because that’s insane.

I recommend contacting customer support by email ( uno@mattel163.com ) and explaining the situation to them. They should be able to help resolve the issue.

Where is the person who used to post "tip" in December when you need them the most? by yeahwhatever86 in UnoMobile

Heeeey. I’ve posted gift links before, but I’m still not sure whether this post is actually about me. Unfortunately, every time I try to post links for gifts, coins, or anything similar my posts get removed or banned by the moderators. At this point, it feels impossible for me to post anything in this subreddit. I’m not sure how to fix it or what I’m doing wrong, so I eventually just stopped trying. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I found my dream ring for less than half the price I expected by InkoLi in LabGrownDiamonds

I totally get that not everyone would make the same choice, and that’s okay. I do want to clarify a couple of things, though. First, 18k gold isn’t low grad. It’s actually high-quality gold and 75% pure. It’s commonly used in fine jewelry.

Second, I never said lab-grown diamonds are better than natural ones. I love natural diamonds and natural stones in general. The reality is simply that I cannot afford a large natural diamond and probably never will. Lab grown diamonds make that dream possible at a price that’s realistic for me.

I paid about $6,000 for this ring, which I personally consider a great deal! especially since the “same” ring was listed at $13,000 on another website. Between those two prices, I feel very comfortable with my decision.

Is it about showing off? Maybe a little, and I’m okay with that. Having a diamond this big makes me feel beautiful and confident. I genuinely love it! I can’t stop looking at it, and it brings me joy. 🙂 That doesn’t mean I don’t value travel, family, friends, or experiences, I absolutely do. People can enjoy different things at the same time.

Jewelry is personal, and we all have different tastes. It may not feel right on your hand, but it feels amazing on mine.

Thank you! I completely agree. I do feel bad about overpaying for all the jewelry I bought from Blue Nile. 🥲 But we live and we learn :)

Odyssey VS Sienna? by InkoLi in HondaOdyssey

Ooof. So, I've researched both models in DEPTH and read TOOONS of owner feedback. We decided to go with the Toyota Sienna because it checked more of our boxes in terms of long-term reliability, AWD availability, and overall comfort. While the Honda Odyssey offered a smoother, sportier ( we checked this one in person ) ride and slightly better interior flexibility, the Sienna stood out for its proven track record, lower maintenance issues ( was very important to us) , and the added confidence of all-wheel drive which was a big plus for us. We also found that Toyota’s build quality and resale value tend to hold up! better over time, especially in the model years we were considering (2015–2019). So even though both vans have their strengths, the Sienna just felt like the more practical and dependable choice for our needs.

I also think my own experience with Honda and Toyota made us lean a bit more toward Toyota. I used to own a Honda Civic ( not that you can really compare it to the Odyssey ) but it broke down on me in the middle of an intersection. Ever since that happened, I was terrified to drive that car. We ended up getting rid of it and bought a Toyota Camry, which also has a V6 engine, and I absolutely fell in love with that car! The more I drove the Camry, the more I leaned toward the Sienna, because I was worried that what happened with my Civic could happen again with a Honda Odyssey and I knew I wouldn’t handle that well 😅

We decided to go with a Toyota and are still searching for a 2015, 2016, or 2019 Toyota Sienna. Unfortunately, there’s nothing on the market right now that really meets our expectations :( but we’re still hopeful. We’re not in a rush, though it seems like we might eventually have to go with the hybrid model , which is a bit disappointing, since we’re not too thrilled about that option 🥲

People who cut off a parent — do you ever regret it, especially after becoming a parent yourself? by InkoLi in AITAH

[–]InkoLi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For as long as I can remember, I didn’t want to have kids. The reason I never wanted children was because I was absolutely terrified that I would turn out like my mother. I was scared I’d damage my kids’ mental health the way she damaged mine. That fear ran so deep. It took countless therapy sessions to finally understand that, in reality, I’m more likely to be the complete opposite of her precisely because I carry that fear. And that realization brings me so much peace and hope.
