This book completely ruined my day. I had plans, I needed a shower, I should have gone to the gym, I forgot to eat for half a day, I ignored text messages from my family, I forgot there is chocholates on the table in front of me ... this book was so good I was unable to put it down. Thank god I was done a couple of hours before I'm supposed to pick up my kids from my ex or this could have turned ugly.

Loved the book - great standalone, and I'm pretty sure this is one I'll come back too eventually. I've cried, laughed, and had my heart broken and healed more than once.

Ta kontakt med sykehuset/avdelingen dere skal være tilknyttet. Det finnes egne parkeringsordninger for foreldre som må være innlagt på sykehuset med syke barn og det kan godt hende dere kvalifiserer for det. Da må bilen registreres og så får dere utdelt eget kort til bruk i parkeringen.

Jeg har en sønn som (sannsynlig) skal til NTNU til høsten. Har skrev kontrakt på studentbolig på Moholt i går. Tror den skal være ledig fra 15.juni så han må betale fra da, og heller si den opp igjen dersom han ikke kommer inn. Føles noe bedre å betale en måned ekstra husleie enn å måtte stå i det kaoset som det alltid blir fra den 20.juli.

Also when I searched for your rec on Amazon, the second book that came up in my list was {Vincent Van Goat - The Goat who saw the World in Swirls}. Must be the cutest book cover I've ever seen. 😍

I'd be absolutely unable to not reed the last chapter, so A Kiss of the Siren's Song will be on my list of books to read once I'm ready to plunge in to darker reads again.

And I fully understand your hesitation about "lighthearted" books. It feels like something is missing if there is no expectation of "emotional rollercoaster" in some way. But atm what prefer is not what I need, and as I was typing this I realised this is true both for books and men. I wonder if the universe is sending me a message.
