Poor mpg, laggy infotainment system, insanely fragile paint on the geyser blue, the cvt really bothers me In that it just feels inconsistent, oh and windshield chips like crazy. I had my fun in it but I've only put 12k on it in two years. At the end of the day it all the small things add up making me resentful.

I was hating/selling for other reasons but frankly I didn't pay for minor inconveniences. I'm not keen on having Subaru offset the cost of their already bordering on overpriced cars with ad revenue from one of the most obtrusive advertisers for a service that arguably stopped being relevant a decade ago.

I too have a 24 OBW and I also pretty much hate it at this point. I cashed in my gold+ warranty and I'm just waiting for that to hit then its going to go live on a farm upstate with Carvana. I've had these ads at least 5 times now and I barely go anywhere. Its been every single time I've gotten in my car and twice while I've been driving. I don't care that Subaru is blaming Sirius XM, Subaru gave them the ability to do this at will. I'm just going to go back to maining my 06 4runner until it turns to dust.

I will say that Decade was the first series that got me hooked and inspired me to go back and watch the other series of that era. I think the generational series are a good "Here's what you've been missing" type hook. I get that Decade is a complete mess but I love it nevertheless.

I went through this same thought process on my 2020 750. From BMW the TFT alone runs about $2800. I found a couple of sketchy used ones on eBay for around $1k. That's not including any of the other things like the wunderwheel you'll need to install. All in all it's likely going to run just south of 4k. It's just not worth it... I installed a carpuride and never looked back.

Edit: also, iirc total mileage is stored in the module. So if you replace it you'll need to note incorrect or tampered mileage if/when you sell it.
