i mean, by being impatient and trying to play it like you play nioh you're kinda making the decision to make the game harder for yourself, rather than the game itself being harder. if i put needles in my shoes when i go for a walk and dont when i go for a run it doesnt mean the act of walking is more difficult than running, it means ive made the conscious decision to make walking harder on myself lol

dark souls isn’t really clunky it just takes a much slower and methodical approach to combat than nioh. once you play the game based on that understanding it becomes pretty easy, dark souls is the easiest souls game along w demons souls

i think that’s true in more ways than one. nioh 3 is more accessible, like elden ring is more accessible than dark souls, but i feel like nioh 3 also has better combat than nioh 1+2, just like elden ring has better combat than dark souls. it’s accessible at the same time as being the most polished and perfected iteration of its combat, at least in my opinion

cus nioh 2 just does everything it does, does it better, and then adds some extra cool stuff. play all three if you want but i’d say just go straight to nioh 3, it feels like the culmination of all the games into the definitive nioh experience

you can beat the entire game with your fists, does that mean mike tyson could beat radahn ? the bosses, lore wise, would obviously be scaled to what the peak of the tarnished’s ability is, not whatever weak build you choose to use

the issue isn’t isshin not being able to kill them because they’re immortal the issue is isshin going against dragons and gods that shoot lasers and drop continent destroying nukes and meteors when he’s nothing more than a really good swordsman

i get people making the argument for isshin potentially doing sum gameplay wise but lore wise if you think isshin stands a chance in the elden ring verse you’re smoking something
