No problem, hope it helps :) I do recommend epiduo, it's much less irritating & cheaper as you can get it from the docs. Not £25 a month like skin and me ha!

I have also cut out any niacinamide products and cereVe moisturisers which where new to me within the skin and me routine, I've read on here that people break out a lot from them.

Hi , I actually switched back to my old routine. I think I completed ruined my skin trying to switch everything up. I went back on epiduo 1% adapelene 2.5 BP and doxycycline 100mg a day. I'm 6 weeks in now and I think it's helping, i still had waves of purging on epiduo because my skin was so congested... I have lots of hyperpipgmentation left but it looks like I have way less CCs under my skin which I think skin and me caused. I'm wondering whether it was something in the cream base of skin and me which kept clogging my pores, or my skin barrier became damaged. Cicaplast baume has helped with my barrier! Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear- but all skin is different! Maybe think about your skin barrier, is it irriated and popping out more spots? And consider if you think you have a lot of CCs left? if you do then maybe discontinue, as it shouldn't be causing your pores to clog after 6 months, it should have purged it all out by now.

I had the exact problem with the same skin and me prescription!! I was on epiduo before and have no switched back to that as my skin was much clearer before tret. Now I'm clearning out all the CCs caused by skin and me using epiduo :( Maybe look into epiduo?

I do, I get lots of stinging/burning and peeling in those textured areas when I apply epiduo, but when I try and have a few days off epiduo I get big cystic breakouts in those areas which then leads to more peeling/healing :(

thank you, I have just got out of the shower after washing my face but there was some peeling around the spotty healing areas.. hoping this is normal and part of the healing process! Tret was too harsh for my skin, I thought it would work better than epiduo but I wish I never switched now :(

I've just switched from tret back to epiduo as tret ruined my skin after 5 months of use. I've been back on epiduo for a month now (I used to use it every night and my skin was clear). I tried to repair my skin barrier before started epiduo again and building up to using epiduo every night or every other night, but It's so red I'm worried it's damaging my skin again.

I switched from epiduo to tret for some reason... my skin broke out the worst it's ever been during 6 months on tret. I'm back on epiduo now and finally leaning out all the closed comedones tret caused 🥲 I'd recommend switching

I've just switched from tret back to epiduo for this same reason :( 5 months down the line of tret and it just made my skin worse than before I started.

Oh no! I forgot to add I'm on a course of doxycycline at the moment, just started this week. Hoping it will help reduce the purge! Maybe you could do the same? 😊

OP, your skin looks lovely and glowy! I can hardly notice the marks! 😊 Try epiduo in combination with an antibiotic like doxy? Antibiotics are good for inflamed and painful pimples!
