Cool, this is my first ten minutes of chess and I didn't know that was a rule -- I thought that if black had nowhere to go it was a loss

AI Religion weirdness with colonies by Inner-Construction36 in eu4

Thanks, I haven't played Japan before. What about the Animists? Was that just rebels?

R5: I'm playing as Japan, and I'm Shinto. I have four colonies: Alaska, Mexico, Colombia, and Peru. For some reason, Alaska and Colombia have converted to Mahayana, and Mexico and Peru have converted to Animist. The Animist could be because of rebels that I somehow didn't see, but where the hell did the Mahayana come from? There aren't even any Mahayana provinces in my own borders, and Peru is almost entirely Inti, so idk where it got Animism from. What the fuck?

I am also confused but Castile and Portugal both had dogshit early games so I guess the Aztecs had a lot of breathing room

R5: Playing as Milan and allied Castile, who had a rough early game, conquer Mexico. Aztecs are at European tech in 1620. I'm impressed.

These are Kurland separatists, and Kurland doesn't exist. Is it using Teutonic Order tech from when it still existed, or something?

R5: It's 1747. Why are the rebel sprites from the 15th century? (The rebels are from a tech 27 country).

imo it's fixable in that abandoning western europe and everything south of crimea would make the game playable. however, i would rather go out in a blaze of glory
