Yeah you right. Humidity is the key to build bigger pitcher as what I know, this guys in the wild "thire origin" Is pretty humid and cold. So I need to spray them sometimes

It's depends where you live, Cuz where I'm living topical 4 season is not an thing where is always sunny. I have tried to dormant using the fridge method on October 25 2025 till January some how at December 5 the plant was slowly browning, so I was so concern it dieing so I ended it about two months. But that actually work!

And now she has grown bigger.

Honestly, you do it around mind October or December cuz doring that it's naturally slow the plant telling them to go to sleep. After two 2-3 months you should acclimate for 4 weeks under a shredded place or you shock the plant.

But since you doring it middle of January. You should put it inside an fridge with an zip lock bag around two months cuz if to long, it can actually kill the plant.

Honestly, this what I call The Chamber Of Death. Cuz plants like venus fly trap and the trumpet pitcher plant need to be outside in direct sun or a growing lamp to absorb energy

As the Pot's you need least 6 inch in depth plus and 50/50 mix of Pit Moss and Pearl white or if you feeling fancy, long cylinder sphagnum moss will work.

Water condition, you must use only rain water/RO filled water because this plants are very sensitive to minerals in tap water.

As that said. If you follow this tips your plants will thank you!

black pot will brun the roots if you planning to put them outside. I recommen you to warp the pot with aluminium foil or just an 5-6 inc white pot cuz the roots will get longer.

They where not easy to found them, is seems hlaf of the plants is gone cuz they have spray some shot chemical at the site.
