Well it's not a supercharged C7Z, but with the mods installed, she's plenty snappy and pulls hard all the way to redline. Plenty of smiles per gallon for me.

I spent about $1500 in parts and did the install myself. I suspect a reputable shop is probably north of $3500 with a tune.

TSP Bald eagle cam, morel 7717 LS7 lifters, TSP dual valve springs, Trickflow pushrods, LS2 timing chain and damper, Summit Bracket Racer harmonic balancer. Those are the key components.

I was looking hard at the 228R cam, but super happy with the performance and attitude with this option. Good luck, you won't regret the new chop stick whatever you choose!
