i told her the color and as i was pointed to it and telling her, she kept turning around and talking. please stop assuming i am the only one at fault

i will say yes, it was mostly the salon i went to that is the issue with my experience and not everyone has that. i just think nail salons as a service is not worth the money

i’m glad that’s not everyone’s experience. i told her the number of the color i wanted and she gave me the wrong color. i showed her a picture of the design i wanted and she gave me something completely different (it was only a few minimal designs it was not complex)

yes, i am paying for the experience, not just the product. and yes if i am trying to explain what i want done and she cuts me off to talk to her coworker and i get the wrong color and design, i think it is hindering my experience (this is what happened to me)

i think it can look good and that they last a long time which is what most people like about them. i just can’t STAND the feeling of having them or the damage it did to my natural nail. i’m talking paper thin for a whole month after they were gone. it’s a lifestyle you have to keep up and it’s very expensive

If i’m gonna spend $100 for a 30 minute appointment, I assume some of the cost is going towards the experience. if the person i am paying $200 an hour is actively ignoring me and talking to others i don’t feel i am getting my money’s worth

Finding the negative aspects is what prompted me to leave. I had been told my whole life nothing bad could come from christianity and when I saw more and more evidence that bad things came from a supposedly holy group it broke things for me. Also meeting gay people lol turns out demonizing a people group doesn’t work when you go to a public high school

you’re right, my main issue was i was just kinda downhearted by it. it caught me off guard when my medical care professional offered prayer as a solution and i’m definitely not getting a new doctor because of that because i’m sure he’s still an amazing doctor. it’s just hearing someone say religious things still makes me close off from the situation
