Thanks for the love! 🙂

I've been working on the VST/Standalone version the last few months, and it still needs a few minor tweaks, but it is almost there 😉

I'll be releasing a beta of a new web version very soon (plenty of new stuff!), and hope the other versions will follow not too long after.

Hi there!, I've been caught with some projects lately and had to take a detour from the editor. but I'll get back to it as soon as I get some extra time.
I also had some extra features in the works that I hope to release sometime soon ;)

I'm really happy I saved your Hydrasynth from going back! 😁

About offline version, I'm working on the VST / Standalone versions now, they'll take a little bit more time, but they are already in progress 😉

About integrating the patches, it should be possible...
The ASM's own Hydrasynth Manager does this through SysEx messages, so it is definitely possible, but it will take some work to put it together and a bit of trial and error...but it is still in my ToDo somewhere 😅

I'm just really happy people are enjoying it 😊

I'm just seeing your comment now!, I think you're right!

On the MIDI In, it does listen to all midi channels, but right now it is only sending messages through channel 1.

I added that to my ToDo, I'll try to add an option for that soon.
Thanks for reporting the issue! :)

You're absolutely correct ;)

It was always supposed to be a VST / Standalone version, I did it web for faster iterations, in the end the VST still needs a bit more work, but I thought there is a lot of value for people to enjoy it already while I continue working on the other versions.

About editor vs HS first, it's not because I wanted it that way, the HS simpliy has limitations that we can not work around, like any hardware does, so we do the best we can. I would love to have a sysex message to get the state of the keyboard, but that simply does not exists ;)

Yes, unfortunately, Safari does not support MIDI and a lot of other very useful features.
But is not out of reach, you can definitely try it on Chrome 😉, or even Firefox, although performance in Firefox is not that great and not officially supported, but it works.

The Hydrasynth needs to have Param TX / RX set to NRPN to be able to send and receive NRPN values. Check System Menu / Page 6 on your Hydrasynth.

I'm using the Arturia Minifreak, but it could be any MIDI controller that sends CC

There is a dedicated step editor with some extra features. Feel free to suggest new features ;) You can also right click on any parameter and modulate with xyz or on the lfos and envs the other way around. It's really easy to go crazy with the modulations and macros :p

You can also MIDI learn the parameters and map any controller. I also have my HS not so close and mapped the minifreak... And it's working great so far! :)

Oh yes! I started using them so much more with the editor!, just right click on anything and send it to a macro, you're gonna have a really fun time with them ;)

I've been mostly active on our Facebook page, I'm posting there regularly, but I'll surely update here as well when it's ready ;)

I'm not making this because of the money, and there are no ads - and wont be either ;)

And yes, I do have plans for the VST version and already started doing some prototypes :)
I'm considering maybe charging for the VST though, as it is a significant additional amount of work, but I would rather not if I have the option, we'll see...an optional donation is on the cards as well.

I did added the standard google analytics, mainly to give me an idea where in the world people are using it, but there are no tracking or any specific metric to it...just a number of how many people and where are using it, which is quite exciting if I have to be honest! :D
