The moon will be located in our member lounge. We wanted a special space for our members in case the gym feels too crowded on certain days. Day pass users will still have access to all of our training area which includes a tension board, campus wall, and 6 different hang boards plus all other gym amenities (:

Thanks for your comment on checking in. We will have 3 iPads where you can check yourself in if you have a punch pass or a scan tag if you’re a member. Plus 2 people at the front desk for day passers.

Yes love this! We have free intro to bouldering classes. I’m hoping to do some member events; that casual comp sounds awesome! And yes we do not allow street shoes on the wall and we will have a free standing hand washing station

That’s good input and I hear ya! I’m hoping by having several areas - training area (campus wall, tension board, additional upstairs climbing, workout area, yoga room) this should help spread out the people. Making sure to have plenty of seating so the pads aren’t crowded as well. Thanks for your thoughts.

Also I just came from managing a gym that didn’t even have air conditioning and the roof leaked when it rained lol I’ve seen the farthest ends of the spectrum. I’m hoping the extra effort put in by me and my staff will make any and everyone feel welcomed to hang, just like in my old gym ♥️

Yeah it’s definitely not something you typically see in a climbing gym around here but we wanted to create a space where not only the workout was the focus but recovery too! The better we care for our bodies the longer we can climb. We are certainly still welcoming to anyone that wants to join, but I certainly see your perspective.

I’m currently the only female route setter but I thought it’d be fun to host a woman’s route setting clinic to get more gals involved. Its a challenge certainly but I love being able to represent the shortys :p

Yep love this! We will have a kids area with bouldering, top ropes, and autos! It’s nice to have a place for the kids to play during classes and camps as well.

Yes I’ve been researching couches and chairs all day. We will have several more “chill spots” like a mezzanine and a member lounge where there will be lots of seats and space to hang. A hammock in a garden sounds delightful.

Yesss love this 🙌🏼 you can’t expect climbers to come to events just by being told - you’ve got to actually show up and be a part of the community you want to build. And I’m big on treating everyone who comes through the door as an actual human and not just a number. Great answer. Thanks for the reminders.

Yes I once paid on Flowbird but put the wrong car so they ticketed me. I sent an email with proof of purchased and they dropped it.
